We offer single double and triple kayaks – with a fleet of over 45 we have the perfect kayak for you. With a large range of sit on top Ocean kayaks as well as high performance sea kayaks. All equipment is well maintained and in good condition.

Another option for the more adventurous and experienced kayaker is to paddle out to Urupukapuka Island. There are 3 campsites available the smallest is Sunset nestled right next door to Otehei Bay. Paddle around the corner and you have Cable Bay lastly you have the Urupukapuka campsite.

The island has significant historical and cultural importance. It has fabulous walks, crystal clear water for swimming as well as great fishing and snorkeling. This is approximately a paddle of 4-5 hours depending on weather conditions- a distance of 18 kms.
We provide cross wind double kayaks or single. Necky kayaks. All safety equipment - PDF, spray skirt, split paddle, pump, flares and dry bags. Full safety briefing is given and it’s advisable to depart Paihia no later than 9am. Free vehicle and backpack storage available.
There are also other overnight options available with transport options available on request.
Te Araroa is a walking trail starting from Cape Reinga running down the country all the way to Bluff at the bottom of the South Island.
Take a break from hiking and let us transport your backpacks while you kayak from Paihia to Waikare in 3-4 hours.
